AJ Thomas serves as CXO in Residence and on the advisory board at A.Team, contributing to a curated network of distinguished executives. With extensive experience at X, the moonshot factory, AJ has held roles such as Advisor, Chaos Pilot & Global Head of Talent Experience, and Head of People Products, Strategy & Operations, focusing on talent innovation and human experience design. Additional advisory positions include work with HIGHER Community, SemperVirens Venture Capital, Magic Eden, Coreshell Technologies, and Pyn, among others. AJ is also faculty and an executive coach at the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute. Educational qualifications include graduate studies in Venture Capital and Private Equity from Columbia Business School, certification as an executive coach from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and a graduate certificate in Leadership and Organizational Design from New York University.
