Makan Ramola is an experienced pastry chef currently working at Fairmont San Francisco since September 2023, with a strong background in various prestigious culinary establishments. Prior to this role, Makan held positions at ROOH as a Pastry & Bakery specialist since April 2021, and at Claremont Club & Spa as a Bakery & Pastry professional from June 2022 to September 2023. Previous experience includes working as a Patissier for Carnival Cruise Line, a Demi Chef De Partie (Pastry & Bakery) at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, and a commi at Meluha The Fern An Ecotel Hotel. Makan's culinary journey began as an apprentice in Food Production at The Leela Kempinski in Mumbai. Makan holds a Bachelor's degree in Sciences from D.A.V. Post Graduate College Dehradun, obtained in February 2006.
