Cathy Wellwood has extensive experience in development and fundraising within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as Chief Development Officer at Good Shepherd since February 2006, Wellwood previously held the position of VP Development at Hamilton Health Sciences from 2003 to 2004, and was the Director of Development at St. Joseph Healthcare Foundation from 1992 to 2003. Wellwood's educational background includes a degree in Management in Non-Profit Sector from Mohawk College and a degree in Business from St. Clair College, all complemented by advanced studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
