Kane Blackman is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the disability sector and strategic governance. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Good Sammy Enterprises, Kane is dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. As an Advisory Council Member for the WA Future Health Research and Innovation Fund, Kane oversees the distribution of $100 million for health research and innovation. Additional roles include President of the Leederville Sporting Club, Expert Panel Member for the review of the School Education Act 1999, and Chair of the Ministerial Advisory Council on Disability. Previous leadership roles encompass Non-Executive Directorships at Charitable Recycling Australia, Therapy Focus, and Rare Voices Australia, along with a prior position as Commission Secretary at the Insurance Commission of Western Australia. Kane holds multiple degrees, including an MBA and certifications in governance and safety, and has recently completed the Executive Leadership Program at Stanford University.
