James Francis is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, customer success, and growth operations. Currently serving as a Venture Scout at Good News Ventures, James supports General Partners in identifying new investment opportunities and assisting emerging entrepreneurs. Previously, as Director of Growth Operations and Director of Customer Success at Knowledgehook, James led an innovation team to enhance company programs, developed a successful customer success strategy that contributed to over $10M in annual revenue, and co-founded the company, significantly impacting the education technology sector in Canada. Earlier roles include Business Development Manager at FIRST Robotics Canada and Account Manager at Citi, where James built a substantial client base and achieved numerous accolades. James holds an HBA in Business from Ivey Business School at Western University.
