Rachelle Strawther

Founding Director, Center For Lifelong Learning at Gonzaga University

Rachelle Strawther, Ed.D., serves as the Founding Director of the Center for Lifelong Learning at Gonzaga University, a position held since September 2021, where significant program expansion has occurred, growing from 5 to over 40 offerings in collaboration with various internal departments. Previously, Rachelle was the Director of Leadership Training and Development at Gonzaga University School of Leadership Studies, focusing on delivering leadership programs and overseeing revenue-generating activities. Rachelle's career at Gonzaga began in 2013, encompassing roles such as President of the Staff Assembly and Assistant Director of Leadership Training and Development. Rachelle also has experience managing grassroots initiatives in Kenya with the Kisumu Youth Football Association and co-founding humanitarian programs in the Kiwanis Development Initiative. Rachelle holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master's degree in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University, and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Social Studies from Western Washington University.
