Kai R. has a varied and extensive work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Creative Producer at GoNoodle, where they created development decks, write-ups, and pitches for presentation to clients, intercepted and executed client feedback on all deliverables, and supervised the post production and QC of all deliveries. In 2020, they worked at Encantos as a Production Supervisor, Creative Producer, and Associate Producer. In 2017, they worked at Bloomfield College as an Adjunct Professor and at JOSUBU Productions as a Motion Designer / Video Editor, creating and designing broadcast graphic packages, editing promo spots, and designing and animating social media content for influential brands and companies. In 2014, they worked at the Department of Digital Arts, Pratt Institute as a Graduate Assistant, assisting chairs, faculty, and students with common departmental problems, setting up galleries, and creating posters, videos, and promotional materials for department events. They also worked at CandidSyndrome International Media House as a Video Editor, creating short film proposals for clients, editing videos of client events, and pre- and post-production on various short films. In 2013, they worked at Les' Copaque Production Sdn. Bhd. as an FX Artist, creating FX simulations, presenting dailies to the head of the FX department, and more.

Kai R. began their educational journey in 2008 when they attended INTI International University & Colleges and completed the American Degree Transfer Program in Computer Science. From 2010 to 2013, they attended DePaul University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Graphics and Motion Technology with a minor in Studio Art. Finally, they attended Pratt Institute from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master's Degree in Digital Animation and Motion Arts.
