Derek Bernard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Derek began their career with an internship at Sellen Construction in 2012. After that, they worked as a Sales Development Representative and later as a Senior Account Executive at PayScale, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. Derek then transitioned to the role of Manager of Sales Development before becoming a Senior Manager of Client Success at the same company from 2015 to 2019. In 2019, they joined Skilljar as the Director of Sales Development until 2020. Following that, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Outreach from 2021 to 2023. Derek is currently employed as a Senior Sales Engineer at Gong starting from April 2023.

Derek Bernard obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Finance from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Derek attended the university from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their degree, Derek obtained a certification as a Certified Administrator from Outreach in July 2022.
