Avshalom Azulay has a diverse work experience with a focus on software development and team leadership. Avshalom currently holds the position of Engineering Manager at Gong since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Lemonade from November 2021 to June 2023, where they held the roles of Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer.
From 2016 to 2021, Avshalom worked at Forescout Technologies Inc. in various roles. Avshalom first served as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on developing core libraries of the product and improving UI performance. Avshalom then transitioned to the role of Team Lead, where they supervised a team of software developers responsible for web application development. Later, they took on the role of Technology Lead, where they redesigned and developed Forescout's cloud architecture with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
Before their time at Forescout, Avshalom gained valuable experience at the Israeli Air Force from 2011 to 2016. Avshalom initially worked as a Software Developer, maintaining a legacy mission critical application and later developing a new system with a focus on performance and reliability. Avshalom eventually became a Team Leader, leading a group of software developers in the development and maintenance of a central C4I software system for the IAF.
Throughout their career, Avshalom has demonstrated skills in team management, software development, and a strong focus on performance and reliability.
Avshalom Azulay pursued their education at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at The Open University of Israel in 2012 and concluded their studies in 2021. During this period, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
