Tor-Arne Grönland has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Tor-Arne is currently serving as the Senior Director of Business Development and Propulsion at GomSpace. Prior to this, they were the CEO of NanoSpace AB, which was acquired by GomSpace in 2016. Tor-Arne also worked at SSC - Swedish Space Corporation as a Project Manager, Deputy Department Head, and Propulsion Engineer. Tor-Arne was involved in the start-up of ECAPS and co-invented several patents related to green propulsion technology. Before that, they worked as a Consultant at Prosolvia Research & Technology, where they focused on Computational Fluid Dynamics, fluid physics, propulsion, and aerodynamics. Tor-Arne also worked as a Research Scientist at the Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden (FFA). Tor-Arne Grönland completed their doctoral studies in Fluid Physics at KTH.
Tor-Arne Grönland received their Master's degree in Flygteknik from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1992. Tor-Arne further pursued their education at the same institute, completing a Licentiate degree in Strömningsfysik from 1995 to 1997.
