Vandana Prabhu started their work experience in 1996 as an Auditor at Ford, Rhodes, Parks & Co., where they gained exposure in various areas such as inventory observations and accounts finalization. Vandana then worked as a Senior Auditor at the same company, conducting external, internal, and tax audits for clients in different industries. In 2005, Vandana joined Greycells Entertainment Ltd. as an Assistant Manager, where they led the development and review of the Annual Report and performed financial due diligence for potential business acquisitions. Vandana later worked as an Audit Leader at Northern Trust, performing SAS 70 tests and testing internal controls in accordance with SOX requirements. In 2010, Vandana became an Accountant at Robert Half International, and in 2011, they joined Golub Capital as a Senior Fund Accountant.

Vandana Prabhu began their education journey at the University of Mumbai, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Accounting. The exact duration of their studies at this institution is not specified. Later, in the year 2000, they attended The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, where they obtained a degree in ACS (Associate Company Secretary). This educational pursuit spans from 2000 to 2004. Finally, in 2007 and 2008, Vandana received further education at AICPA and became a Certified Public Accountant.
