Hussein Abdulahi Nour Bookh is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Dean of the Civil Engineering Department at Gollis University Burao Somaliland, serving in these roles since January 2015. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching, developing curricula, supporting students, and participating in quality assurance measures. Additionally, Hussein works as a Consultant Engineer for the Somaliland National Defence Force, providing cost estimates and contract administration. Previous experience encompasses roles as a National Construction Manager with Mines Advisory Group, where construction and rehabilitation of community infrastructure were managed, and positions as a Structural Engineer and Site Engineer in various construction companies. Hussein holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Combat Engineering from Defence Engineering College in Ethiopia and a Diploma in Project Management from the African Institute of Development and Management in Somaliland.
