Kathy Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Kathy started their career in 1986 as an Instructor/Evaluator Navigator and Mission System Operator in the United States Air Force, serving until 1999. Kathy then joined the US Air Force Reserve as an Admissions Liaison Officer and reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel before retiring. In 1992, Kathy became the owner of Kathy's Inc. dba Jazzercise, a fitness business they managed until 1997. Kathy later co-founded and managed the Habitat-Spokane Builders Surplus Store from 1999 to 2003. Kathy then transitioned into the golf industry, working as a Shop Assistant at Esmeralda Golf Course from 2003 to 2009, and later as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional until 2016. Kathy then held the position of PGA Head Golf Professional at Twin Lakes Village Golf Club from 2017 to 2020, and subsequently joined Coeur d'Alene Golf Club as a PGA Assistant Golf Professional until 2022. Currently, Kathy is working as a Customer Support Representative at Golf Genius Software, a position they started in 2023.
Kathy Brown earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, completing their studies from 1982 to 1986. In 2010, they enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management Course, which they successfully completed in 2013. Currently, Kathy is pursuing a certification in Golf Genius from Golf Genius Software, expected to be achieved between 2022 and 2023.
