David Simmons possesses extensive experience in educational administration and human resources. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources at Goleta Union School District since June 2017, David also holds the position of Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Services at Ventura County Office of Education, a role undertaken since 2009. Previously, David was the Director of Human Resources at VCOE from 2009 to 2013 and served as a Math Teacher at Ventura Unified School District from 1989 to 2001.
