Sandy Smith is an accomplished Project Manager with extensive experience in renewable energy and civil engineering. Currently serving as GWA Project Manager for Goldwind since November 2018, Sandy has successfully overseen the wind turbine supply and installation for multiple hybrid power projects in Western Australia, including significant developments at Agnew Gold mine and Kathleen Valley Lithium mine. Previous roles include Bid/Project Manager at Civmec Construction & Engineering, where responsibilities included managing bids for renewable energy projects, as well as Project Site Manager for the 175MW White Rock Wind Farm. Sandy’s background encompasses key positions at companies such as CPB Contractors, Thiess, and CATCON, managing large-scale civil projects in Australia and internationally. Sandy holds a B.Sc. Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma of Business in Frontline Management from the Australian Institute of Management.
