Mike Nikles is a software engineer who currently works for Goldsky. Mike has previously worked for Webstone Technologies and the D&B Cloud Innovation Center.

At the D&B Cloud Innovation Center, Mike worked as a senior software engineer on the core tools team. Their focus was building visualizations, such as bar charts, line charts, and bubble charts, that were consumed by the solutions team which built a BI web application. Mike also mentored several junior and intermediate team members, and helped streamline pull request reviews with a code review checklist.

Mike also introduced server-side rendering for React, which was used to render PDFs. Mike also improved how the team dealt with CSS classes and how they were structured, which reduced regression issues. Mike also defined how visualizations should be documented to simplify on-boarding of new developers.

Finally, Mike built a dashboard test framework that allowed for full test coverage across an entire dashboard. This was a significant achievement, as it had previously been difficult to get full test coverage.
