Athan Gougousis is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and equity compensation. Currently serving as Vice President at Goldman Sachs since July 2011, Athan has previously held the position of Vice President at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney from December 2005 to July 2011. Athan's career includes participation in the Executive Finance Leadership Program at Toys "R" Us and an internship at General Motors Asset Management in 2001. Earlier experience includes serving as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young from June 1995 to August 2000. Athan holds a BS in Accounting from Penn State University and has furthered education at NYU Stern School of Business from 2000 to 2002. Academic beginnings were at Glen Rock High School, graduating in 1992.
