Henk Nieuwenhuis has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Henk began their career as an Accounting Trainee at PwC South Africa in 1990 and continued in this role until 1993. Henk then worked as an Accountant at Pioneer Foods from 1994 to 1996. Following this, they served as an Administrative Manager at Bell Equipment from 1996 to 1998. Henk then joined Nutri Feeds as a Financial Manager from 1998 to 2005. Currently, they work as the Financial Director at Goldfields Logistics, a position they have held since 2005.

Henk Nieuwenhuis attended Wesselsbron, Sandveld from 1976 to 1987, but did not pursue any specific degree or field of study during this time. Henk then enrolled at the University of the Free State from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained a B.Compt degree in Accounting and Finance. Afterward, from 1993 to 1994, they attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and completed a B.Compt.Hons degree in the same field.
