Keith MacAndrew is a Senior Rock Mechanics Engineer at Golder Associates, where expertise encompasses geotechnical engineering, strata control, mine safety, rockbolt support design, longwall/bord and pillar mine planning, training, and mine feasibility studies since November 2009. Prior to this role, MacAndrew served as Principal Rock Mechanics Engineer at Rock Mechanics Technology Ltd. in the UK from June 1994 to November 2009. MacAndrew holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours and a PhD in Mining Engineering from Newcastle University, obtained between 1973 and 1979.
