Teresa VirgenTorres, EMPA, AWI-CH, serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Executive Master of Public Administration program at Golden Gate University since May 2023, focusing on human resources courses. Currently, Teresa occupies multiple senior roles at the Golden State Warriors, including Vice President of People and Labor Relations, having progressed from Senior Director of People Operations and Human Resources Director since July 2019. Previously, Teresa worked as a Labor Relations Administrator at AC Transit from September 2014 to July 2019, and also held the position of Member Resource Center Manager at the Service Employees International Union, Local 99 from September 2009 to August 2014. Earlier experience includes being a Racial Justice Organizer with the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California from June 2004 to August 2009. Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, an Executive Certificate in Human Resources Management from California State University - East Bay, and an Executive Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University.
