Michelle McGallian began their work experience as a Graduate Assistant at California State University, Sacramento in 2002. Michelle then joined Golden State Orthopedics & Spine in 2004 as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Michelle later took on the role of Director of DME Operations in 2012, and in 2022, they assumed the position of Director of Sports Medicine and DME at the same company.

Michelle McGallian attended Carondelet High School from 1993 to 1997, where they completed their high school education. Michelle then enrolled in California State University-Sacramento from 1997 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In 2003, they earned the certification of Certified Athletic Trainer from the National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.
