Ross Millerick has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Ross started their career as a Project Manager at Visa Usa in 2007 before moving on to work as a Scrum Master at IGN, GameSpy in 2008. At IGN, they managed online game services delivery and handled various responsibilities, including deploying servers, managing professional services engagements, and coordinating with global teams.
In the same year, Ross joined IBM as a Senior Project Manager, where they worked on multiple projects that focused on cloud-based service catalog systems and delivery solutions. Ross also contributed to the development of software and procedures to improve server provisioning and managed server delivery and billing through application software development.
Ross continued their work at IBM, specifically at IBM Service to Fireman's Fund and IBM Service to American Express Transition-Transformation. In these roles, they led projects to develop internal cloud delivery solutions, migrate servers, and manage data center moves.
Following their tenure at IBM, Ross joined Macys.com as a Senior Project Manager in 2014. Ross'sresponsibilities included delivering virtual and physical infrastructure, expanding the production VLAN, and improving software performance using various technologies.
In 2015, Ross held positions as a Senior Project Manager at both Kaiser Permanente and IBM Global Process Services. At Kaiser Permanente, they served as a project manager, while at IBM Global Process Services, they held the role of a Senior Project Manager.
In 2016, Ross worked as a Senior IT Project Manager at First Republic Bank before transitioning to their most recent role as a Program Director for IT Management Graduate Studies at Golden Gate University in 2017.
Ross Millerick earned their Master's Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 1970. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the same university from 1967 to 1969. Ross started their education at Santa Rosa Junior College, where they obtained an Associate of Science in Engineering from 1965 to 1967. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
