Robert E. David has extensive experience in design and photography, serving as Design Director and Photographer at the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District from 1973 to the present. David contributed to several organizations, including as a member and photographer for the Western Museums Association and as a Curatorial Advisor for the California Historical Society, where an exhibit on the Golden Gate Bridge was developed. Additionally, David held positions in academia, including Associate Professor at Kansas City Art Institute and Teaching Associate at UC Berkeley. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Architecture from The Catholic University of America and a Master of Science in Industrial Design from the Illinois Institute of Technology. David is also certified in Archives Administration from the Western Archives Institute.
