Amy Liao has worked in the food and culinary industry for over a decade. In 2008, they began their career as Integrated Marketing at Food & Wine. In 2009, they moved to the Institute of Culinary Education as a Marketing Coordinator. In 2011, they became Co-Owner, Operations and Events at Baumgart's Cafe and Restaurant. In 2013, they were U.S. Marketing Manager at Le Pain Quotidien. In 2014, they became Director, Member Experience and Assistant Director of Marketing at the 92nd Street Y. In 2018, they were a Restaurant Account Manager at OpenTable. Since 2010, they have also been Self Employed as a Personal Chef & Culinary Marketing Strategist, working with clients such as CookingContestCentral, NY Shuk, and Carried Away Chefs. In 2020, they became Senior Partner Marketing Manager at Goldbelly.
Amy Liao attended the Institute of Culinary Education, where they earned a degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training. Amy then went on to New York University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication Studies.
