Laura Baber, RD, MBA, is an accomplished professional in the field of food service management and nutrition. Currently serving as the Sales Manager for Southern California at Gold Star Foods since November 2015, Laura specializes in educating K-12 Foodservice Directors about the National School Lunch Program. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Assistant Director of Patient Services at St. Joseph of Orange Hospital, where management responsibilities included overseeing the quality of 600 daily patient meals and leading a team of 33 staff members. Additionally, during tenure at San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine, Laura managed food and nutrition services for an inpatient hospice facility. Laura holds a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University.
