Zina Ameen has a diverse work experience in the medical engineering field. Zina started their career as a Support Worker at Clear Links Support Ltd. in 2015 and then worked as a Rehabilitation Engineer Trainee at Morriston Hospital in 2016 and 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Rehabilitation Engineer at Ortho Europe. Zina then joined Opcare in 2020 as a Lead Rehabilitation Engineer, where they worked until January 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Medical Device Engineer at Gold Standard Phantoms, starting in January 2023.

Zina Ameen completed their education from 2014 to 2017 at the University of Bradford, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Engineering. In addition to their academic credentials, Zina also has acquired additional certifications. In January 2023, they received the Confluence Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian, and the Jira Fundamentals Badge, also from Atlassian, in the same month and year.
