Manuel Díaz is currently the Head of Legal, Compliance & Permits at GOLD FIELDS, reporting to the Executive Vice President Americas. Prior to this role, Manuel held positions such as Legal & Compliance Manager at Wood, Regulatory Affairs Manager at Minería y Recursos Naturales, and Senior Legal Counsel at CODELCO. With a background in legal and regulatory affairs within the mining industry, Manuel also has extensive experience as Director Jurídico Corporativo at BHP Billiton. Manuel holds a Máster (c) MBA from Universidad de Chile, a Licenciado en Ciencias Jurídicas y Sociales from Universidad Central, and a Postítulo in Economía & Finanzas from Universidad de Chile.
