Steinar Joergensen is an experienced commissioning and site manager with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently, Steinar serves as the Commissioning Manager for Golar Gimi FLNG and previously held roles such as Commissioning & Start-up Manager and Site Manager for the Golar Hilli Episeyo FLNG project at Golar LNG since August 2014. Prior experience includes commissioning management for the Ivar Aasen project at Det Norske, as well as site/completions management for the Montara FPSO refurbishment project at PTTEP. Steinar's career also includes significant roles in commissioning and start-up for various floating storage regasification units (FSRUs) and offshore production facilities. Steinar holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, obtained in 1991.
