James Yin currently serves as Affiliate Faculty at SMU Academy and holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Business Development Officer at V-plus Agritech Pte Ltd, where efforts are focused on mainstreaming circular aquaponics farming for sustainability. In addition, James is an Executive Education Fellow at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and facilitates executive education in ESG at GoImpact Capital Partners. Previous experience includes significant roles in the Singapore Armed Forces, where responsibilities ranged from directing military education for mid-senior officers to leading strategic communications and public engagement initiatives. James holds multiple degrees, including an MA in International Communications from the University of Leeds and a B.Eng(Hon) in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, alongside several professional certifications in sustainable finance and business sustainability.
