Bex Gilkes has a diverse work experience in several roles and industries.

Starting in 2009, at Plus One Personnel, Bex worked as a Recruitment Consultant, responsible for growing the business in a new target area and securing contracts with local businesses. They also served as an Account Manager, managing a busy industrial contract. Bex interviewed candidates, conducted health and safety inductions, and handled reference checks.

In 2012, Bex moved to ROCK Recruitment Specialists, where they initially worked as a Recruitment Consultant in the Temporary Division. They then progressed to become a Senior Recruitment Consultant and finally a Recruitment Specialist. Bex managed a successful temporary desk across various industry sectors and prioritized outstanding customer service and professionalism.

In 2016, Bex joined Towngate Personnel as a Recruitment Consultant, specializing in assisting hotels nationwide with their temporary recruitment needs. They sourced candidates for F&B/Management roles and supported both clients and candidates throughout the assignments.

Bex gained experience in the healthcare industry as a Medical Receptionist at the NHS from 2018 to 2019.

Subsequently, at Cannon Technologies Ltd in 2019, Bex worked as a Sales Executive.

Bex then transitioned to Mploy Staffing Solutions, where they held the role of Recruitment Consultant from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, Bex joined REED as a Senior Recruitment Consultant before moving on to their current role at gohenry in 2021. At gohenry, Bex holds the position of People Team Administrator, and later transitioned to the role of People Team Coordinator.

Bex Gilkes attended Banbury School from 1997 to 2003, where they obtained 11 GCSEs in various subjects. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, Bex studied at Oxford and Cherwell College, pursuing an AVCE Travel and Tourism degree in the field of Tourism and Travel Services Management.
