Dan O'Neall has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Dan currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at GCM, where they are responsible for implementing the ERP system, addressing cyber-security issues, and overseeing the upgrade/migration to Kinetic. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Operations at GCM, where they successfully turned around operations by introducing a goal achievement strategy and implementing key performance indicators. Before joining GCM, Dan founded a consulting business called Next Generation Lean, where they advised manufacturing companies on operational excellence and designed customized business intelligence reporting solutions. Dan also held the position of Director of IT and Process Improvement at GAM Enterprises, where they led process improvements and project-managed the implementation of Epicor ERP. Additionally, Dan worked as a Process Improvement Manager at Sears Holdings Corporation, where they leveraged their data science background to identify cost-saving opportunities. Dan initially joined GAM Enterprises as a mechanical design engineer and played a pivotal role in creating core business processes and evolving the company into a manufacturing organization. Dan O'Neall obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from DePaul University - Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in General Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1994 to 1998.
