Alex McCarthy has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Alex began as a Student Manager for Kennesaw State Football in 2014, and then became a Sales Associate for Under Armour in 2015. In 2017, they were a Communications Intern for Kennesaw State Athletics, and in 2018 they were a Scout/Field Manager for Perfect Game USA. In 2019, McCarthy held three roles: an Account Executive for Georgia Swarm Pro Lacrosse, a Property Assistant for Learfield IMG College, and an Equipment Manager Intern for Kennesaw State Athletics. In 2020, they were a Sales Development Representative for Commissions Inc. (CINC), and they currently hold three roles at GoFan, as an Outside Sales Representative, an Inside Sales Representative, and a Sales Development Representative.

Alex McCarthy attended Kennesaw State University from 2014 to 2019 and obtained a B.S. in Sports Management. In May 2021, they completed the SalesBuzz B2B Sales Training Program through SalesBuzz.com.
