Joshua Iyinbo started their work experience in 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer at Precise Financial Systems. Joshua worked there until 2018. In 2018, they joined Interswitch Group as a Senior Software Engineer, and they worked there until 2021. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at GoCardless starting from November 2021.

Joshua Iyinbo's education history includes a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Delta State Polytechnic Otefe Oghara, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Joshua then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin from 2015 to 2016. Joshua furthered their education by completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence from the University of York from 2023 to 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Joshua has obtained various certifications. Joshua achieved the GoLeanSixSigma.com Yellow Belt certification from GoLeanSixSigma.com in December 2018. Joshua also obtained the MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2017 and MCSD: App Builder - Certified 2017 certifications from Microsoft in November 2017. Furthermore, they hold the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate certification from Oracle, which they obtained in October 2013. Most recently, in September 2021, Joshua became a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner, certified by Scaled Agile, Inc.
