Lauren Henkel-Lorenz

School/District Success Manager at Goalbook

Lauren Henkel-Lorenz has been in the field of education since 2007, when they began working as a 6th Grade Special Education Teacher with Teach for America / Middle School 326. In 2009, they moved to Harlem Village Academy Leadership Middle School, where they worked as a 5th Grade Reading Teacher. In 2012, they took a role as Special Education Coordinator and Founding Kindergarten Teacher at Harlem Village Academy Elementary School. In 2015, they became the Director of Student Support Services at KIPP Washington Heights Middle School, and in 2022 they joined Goalbook as a School/District Success Manager.

Lauren Henkel-Lorenz obtained their Masters of Science in Teaching from Pace University in the field of Special Education and Teaching. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College in Social Work.
