Abhishek Naresh is an Assistant Professor at Goa Institute of Management since July 2023, previously serving in the same role at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra from September 2021 to July 2023. Abhishek has a diverse background in research, having worked as a Research Associate at Professional Assistance For Development Action (PRADAN) and INSEAD, where involvement included studies on civil society organizations and design thinking for school children, respectively. Teaching experience includes improving learning outcomes in low-income schools during a fellowship with Teach For India and developing educational content at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Early career roles included a Graduate Engineer Trainee position at Maruti Suzuki India Limited and internships at Advanced System Laboratory, DRDO Hyderabad. Abhishek holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, a Master of Arts in Economics from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
