Senior Director Of Student And Family Services at GO Project

Lupe Guevara, LMSW, has a diverse work experience in the field of social work. They began their career in 2004 as a Youth Care Worker at Boys Town, where they worked until 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a School Based Social Worker at Children's Aid. In 2014, they joined The Children's Village as a Mental Health Clinician at Inwood House for a brief period. In 2015, they transitioned to Children's Aid again, this time as a Community School Director, a role they held until 2019. Since 2019, Lupe has been with GO Project, initially as a Director of Student and Family Services and later promoted to Senior Director of Student and Family Services. In 2020, they also worked as a Licensed Bilingual Social Worker at the New York State Office of Mental Health until August 2022.

Lupe Guevara, LMSW holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. Prior to earning their Master's, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College.
