Jack Hartzler is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web and API development. Currently employed at Caribou since April 2022, Jack focuses on enhancing vehicle loan processing efficiency using Ruby on Rails, Typescript, and React. Prior to this, Jack worked at Medallia, where responsibilities included REST and GraphQL API development in Java and supporting clients in an on-call rotation. Jack's extensive experience spans several roles, including software development at Potomac IT Group LLC and CA Technologies, where mentorship and code reviews were key contributions. Jack initiated projects that advanced to production features and developed skills in various programming languages and frameworks, beginning with foundational work as a software intern at Northrop Grumman and an IT System Administrator at Rosenfeld Laboratory. Jack holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
