Curtis Sarkar is an experienced Environmental Epidemiologist currently working at Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale County Health Departments since January 2020, specializing in foodborne illness surveillance and leading COVID-19 case investigations. Previously held the position of Epidemiologist I, where responsibilities included team leadership in COVID-19 case investigations, data analysis, and rabies surveillance. Curtis also gained experience as an Epidemiology Intern focusing on rabies surveillance, prevention, and creating a tuberculosis data profile.
