Dr. Friederike Ernst has a strong academic background and research experience. Dr. Friederike began their career as a Research Fellow at Freie Universität Berlin in 2010 and worked there until 2013. Dr. Friederike then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University in the City of New York from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they took on the role of Guest Professor at Universität Hamburg for a short period. Dr. Friederike co-founded Gnosis in 2017 and continues to work there. In 2018, they also became a Co-Host at Epicenter.
Dr. Friederike Ernst pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from UCL, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Dr. Friederike then went on to complete a Diplom in Physics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin between 2006 and 2010. Following this, Dr. Ernst earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Physics from Freie Universität Berlin, studying from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Columbia University, focusing on Low-dimensional complex quantum systems. Lastly, Dr. Ernst studied at Stanford University from 2015 to 2017, continuing their exploration of Low-dimensional complex quantum systems.
