Jerry Qinghui Yu is a seasoned financial professional with experience in quantitative research and investment analysis. Currently a Quantitative Research Analyst at GMO since June 2021, Jerry also held the position of Investment Research Associate, focusing on asset allocation, systematic credit, emerging markets debt, and systematic equity, alongside conducting alpha research and economic analysis. Prior experience includes a Strategist internship at Goldman Sachs, where Jerry developed alternative pricing schemes for funds transfer pricing, and a Research Assistant role at the Bank of Canada, utilizing Python and ArcGIS for economic analysis. Jerry's background also includes an Investment Analyst internship at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where tailored risk reports were produced for trading desks. Educational achievements consist of a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics, Computer Science, and Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
