Dan Clair MBA GAICD has over 15 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the insurance and healthcare sectors. Dan is currently serving as the Head of Benefits Management at GMHBA Limited. Prior to this, they worked at Scope (Aust) as the Senior Manager of Business Performance and Operations.

At Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Dan held several positions, including Senior Manager of Client Housing Strategy, Senior Manager of Common Law and Impairment (monetary compensation), Manager of Return to Work, Manager of Independence (catastrophic claims), Senior Manager of Strategic Programs, Manager of Health Providers, Project Lead of Private Hospital Strategy, Manager of Network Providers, and Leader of Provider Programs.

Before joining TAC, Dan also worked at HCML Rehabilitation Solutions as a Client Relationship Manager, where they successfully managed corporate customers and exceeded revenue targets.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, implementing innovative initiatives, building productive relationships with stakeholders, and achieving positive outcomes for clients and organizations.

Dan Clair has a diverse educational background. Dan completed the Board Governance program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019. In 2016, they attended the Melbourne Business School and received a Strategic Leadership Program certificate. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Deakin University. In 2012, Dan participated in the Leaders for Geelong program to enhance their leadership skills. Dan also obtained a Certified Practitioner qualification in Change Management from the Prosci Change Management Methodology in the same year. Additionally, they completed a Masters of Business in Personal Injury at Deakin University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to these experiences, Dan obtained a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science degree from James Cook University and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise for Rehabilitation from Victoria University.
