Andrew Price has worked in the biotechnology field since 2009. Andrew began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Caltech/JPL in 2009. In 2010, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Caltech, where they designed and generated 3D microenvironments to study the mechanics of epithelial tissue morphogenesis. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Biophysics PhD Student at Stanford University, where their thesis work involved two projects relating to the biophysics of mammalian tissues. From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Illumina as a Scientist 2, Scientist 1, and Postdoctoral Researcher. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Glyphic Biotechnologies.
Andrew Price attended La Jolla High School from 2003 to 2007. Andrew then went on to Caltech, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from 2007 to 2011. After that, they attended Stanford University, earning a Master of Science in Medicine from 2011 to 2018, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Biophysics from 2012 to 2018.
