Mark Streeter has a diverse work experience in various mechanical engineering roles. Mark started their career at Lockheed Martin as an Associate System Engineer in 2005, where they eventually became a Senior Aeronautical Engineer. During their time at Lockheed Martin, they worked on the C-5 Galaxy Structural Audit Program and the C-130 Hercules Airframe Design, where they developed structural drawing packages, coordinated engineering design changes, and ensured compliance and certification.
After leaving Lockheed Martin, Mark founded their own startup called StreeTech in 2015. At StreeTech, they focused on developing a turbine electric hybrid power plant for heavy trucking. Mark used MATLAB simulation code to prove a significant reduction in fuel consumption and developed hardware designs for low-cost prototype components.
In 2017, Mark joined Cobalt Robotics as a Mechanical Engineer and later became a Principal Mechanical Engineer. At Cobalt Robotics, they were responsible for developing stress analysis for structural components and investigating alternate proposals for production repairs.
In 2019, Mark joined Embark Trucks as a Senior Staff Mechanical Design Engineer. Mark played a critical role in the Truck Transfer Program (TTP), where they used CAD and rapid prototyping equipment to develop and refine designs. Mark also provided mentorship to junior mechanical engineers and developed work instructions and procedures for prototype production.
Most recently, in 2023, Mark joined Glydways as a Staff Mechanical Engineer. Further details about their role and responsibilities are not provided.
Mark Streeter attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering.
