Anna-Maria Georgoudaki has a diverse work experience in research and academia. Anna-Maria began their career as a research assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they worked from June 2008 to July 2009.

Anna-Maria then moved to Karolinska Institutet, where they held multiple roles. Anna-Maria started as a research assistant in August 2009 and later pursued a PhD from March 2010 to December 2015. Following their PhD, they became an affiliated postdoc from January 2016 to September 2020.

During their time at Karolinska Institutet, Anna-Maria also worked as a postdoc at The Rockefeller University from January 2016 to October 2017.
