Helena Deriš has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Researcher at GlycanAge since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Laboratory Analyst at Genos Ltd starting from 2018. In the same year, they also held the role of MPharm at Gradska Ljekarna Zagreb d.o.o. Their previous experiences include working as a Data Researcher at The Basetrip from 2017 to 2018 and as an Intern at Roche Diabetes Care GmbH in 2017. Helena also worked as an Intern at LJEKARNE PRIMA PHARME in 2017. Helena has gained additional experience as a Working Student at Ericsson Nikola Tesla Servisi d.o.o. and Roche d.o.o. in 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Hostess at Večernji list in 2016 and as a Working Student at Tvornica Kulture from an unspecified time in 2013 to 2015.

Helena Deriš began their education in 2006 at Zlatar Grammar School, where they completed their secondary education. Helena then went on to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Zagreb. Following their Bachelor's degree, Helena pursued further education and research in the field of Biochemistry at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry. Helena enrolled as a PhD student, specializing in Biochemistry, and is expected to complete their studies in 2023. In addition to their formal education, Helena has also obtained certifications in Industrial Biotechnology from Coursera and has participated in the Autumn School of Scientific Writing organized by the Society for Clinical Application of Neuroscience. Helena has also obtained an IELTS certification from IELTS-BRITISH-COUNCIL.
