Divakar Raj Dinakaran is a Regulatory Toxicologist at GLR Laboratories Pvt Ltd since February 2022, with prior experience as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from December 2018 to June 2021, focusing on pathogen detection in water resources and screening antibiotic resistance in wastewater. Divakar's research experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Marina Labs, where projects involved antioxidant potency and characterization of natural zeolite, and as a Research Trainee at Gencor Pacific Organics India Limited, studying the inhibitory effects of medicinal plant extracts. Additional experience includes a two-day Metagenome Informatics workshop with Codon Genomics SB in September 2017. Divakar holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Vel Tech HighTech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College.
