Stuart Stanley has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Stuart started their career as a Principal Software Engineer at Ascend Communications, where they worked as a technical lead for protocols and architecture for a top-end IP router. Stuart continued their journey at Lucent Technologies, where they served as a Principal Test Engineer and implemented a test automation framework for IP and similar networks.
After that, Stanley joined Cisco Systems, Inc as a Software Engineer, focusing on the core router platform. Stuart played a crucial role in designing and developing a new routing policy language for the CSR platform. Subsequently, they worked at Engineered by Design as a Manager for electronics systems, overseeing the development of a scanning LED High Definition TV.
Stanley then joined TIBCO LogLogic as a Software Engineer in the system architecture team responsible for infrastructure and quality improvements. At Vital Images, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer and contributed to the definition of innovation strategy and process. Stuart also designed and operated a log file capture and analysis system.
Next, Stanley worked at Routing Dynamics as a Principal Software Development Engineer, where they created a DevOps style build/deploy/test system and mentored the organization to embrace it. At Juniper Networks, they served as a Software Engineer, working on improving quality, release consistency, and customer satisfaction with the infrastructure portions of the Routing Protocol Daemon.
Later, Stanley joined Dell EMC as a Principal Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of a CaaS platform and architected a hardware management and orchestration platform through REST APIs. Currently, they are working at Glowforge as a Principal Software Engineer.
Stuart Stanley completed their education at the University of Minnesota, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a concentration in business in the period of 1985-2000. Later, they pursued further studies at the same institution and received a Master of Science degree in Management of Technology from 2004-2006.
