Nicole Athas

Special Education Paraprofessional at Gloucester Public Schools

Nicole Athas has extensive experience in education and customer service, currently serving as a Special Education Paraprofessional with Gloucester Public Schools since October 2018. Throughout a diverse career, Nicole has worked as a Chef's Assistant at Culinary Creations and held various educational roles, including Behavioral Therapist at Key Autism Services and multiple positions at YMCA of the North Shore, including Teen Center Staff and Camp Counselor. Additional experience includes serving as a paraprofessional at Saugus Public Schools and Tyngsborough Public Schools, as well as assisting in a second-grade classroom at Centerville Elementary School. Nicole's early career included managing a day center for homeless families with Family Promise and gaining teaching strategies as an intern at Saint Mary Star of the Sea. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies/Education from Endicott College.
