Melvin Nguyen is a Senior Software Engineer at Rakuten since June 2017, bringing extensive experience in software development. Previous roles include Full Stack Developer at Tokyo Academics, where Melvin constructed models and controllers using Sails.js, and Web Developer at Kynote Inc., responsible for designing and maintaining websites and writing backend code for user account management. Melvin also served as a Frontend Developer at Gaucho Grub, where key achievements included designing the app icon and developing the GUI for an unofficial UCSB dining hall Android app. Melvin holds a degree from UC Santa Barbara, completed in 2017.
