Helder Ferreira has been working in the software engineering field since 2000. Their first role was as an Engineer at Ficosa International from 2000 to 2007. Helder then worked as a Network Engineer at Jaba Translations and Microplus from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they began working as a Software Engineer at ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. and then as a Software Developer at Grupo@Work from 2010 to 2011. Helder has been a Software Developer at GLOOKAST since 2013.

Helder Ferreira has a Licenciatura in Eng Informática - Ramo Computadores e Sistemas from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, which they obtained from 2002 to 2007. Helder also has a Licenciatura in Eng Metalúrgica e de Materiais from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. In addition, Helder Ferreira has obtained certifications from FLAG (Android Application Development Specialization, 2013), Oracle (Oracle Certified Java SE 6 Programmer, 2012), IDT (Gestão de Pessoas e Equipas, 2005), and IEFP (Certificado de Aptidão Profissional de Formador (CAP), 2006).
